Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) www.heop.org
HEOP is a program that helps economically and educationally disadvantaged students get into college. Typically the economically, disadvantaged student would not have normally been admitted to the colleges listed below. The financial aid given to HEOP students come from New York State TAP, Pell Grant, HEOP Grants, HEOP Stipends, Subsidized Stafford Loans, and Federal Work Study.
Eligibility: resident of New York State for at least one year; educationally and economically disadvantaged; possess a high school diploma
